Techno Mum

These days there’s so many cool gadgets and inventions that are just a part of our everyday life.
From the MP3 songs we download and our mobile phones through to sensors in the supermarket or electric cars. But how much do you actually know about them?
If you’re like us the answer is probably not that much!
For example, did you know that electrical pulses from the brain can make bionic hands move? Or that microwave ovens cook food using light-waves, just like what we see with our eyes?
Luckily we’ve got a cool series packed with all these interesting facts, called Techno Mum.
Techno Mum will be looking at the ideas and engineering behind the gadgets.
You never know, it might inspire you to invent the next must-have thing.
You can listen to Techno Mum every weekday from 5pm and weekends at 10am on Fun Kids. Tune in on DAB Digital Radio in London and online across the UK! Click here to listen!
