FILMCLUB Film of The Week:

Men in Black III (2012, PG)

Men-In-Black-III

Director: Barry Sonnenfeld

Cast: Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Alice Eve, Josh Brolin, Emma Thompson, Jemaine Clement, Nicole Scherzinger

Extra-terrestrial secret agents J and K return for the third installment of the Men In Black series.

Some kind of cosmic shenanigans have been occurring and Agent K is missing, so Agent J (played by Will Smith), must time travel to the 1960s and meet with the young K to get to the bottom of things. Could it have something to do with the artist Andy Warhol?

As always, there is no shortage of creepy, gooey aliens for him to zap, and cool gadgets aplenty in this action-filled sci-fi comedy. Look out for cameo appearances from Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga.

The first Men In Black film was in part responsible for making Will Smith the huge movie star he is now and whilst this movie doesn’t quite live up to the first in the series there is still plenty to see for fans who enjoy frantic battles to save earth with a time travelling twist!

A great family movie, well worth a watch (especially if you have a chance to catch up with the other two in the series before you go to watch this).
