Amanda inspires pre-schoolers through a unique interactive toddler workout that incorporates both music and movement. Amanda classes are held in many parts of West London including Chiswick, Acton and Ruislip to name a few. Amanda is a well known and well loved face on the pre-schooler ‘scene’ as she has been teaching many local babies and toddlers for the past 15 years.

The unique Amanda sessions offer a fun and interactive physical workout for babies and toddlers incorporating music, toys, dance and exercise. The workout also incorporates a strong educational theme so parents are happy that their children are having fun whilst learning.

Amanda was known as ‘sport billy’ at school as she excelled in so many sports and won all the medals going! This led her on to a career in the sport and leisure industry and she juggled managing a large London sports centre, with running her Amanda sessions.

Amanda was inspired to set up her classes after attending a Music and Movement training course whilst working in the leisure industry. She put into practice everything she learnt and discovered that she had a natural affinity with young children.

In 2002, due to massive demand, she decided to concentrate full time on running Amanda sessions.

Amanda has been described by a leading parenting website as a ‘Female Pied Piper’ as she has such an amazing way of capturing childrens attention.
The government initiative Sure Start were so impressed with the educational value of Amanda sessions that a number of West London Sure Starts asked her to run sessions, special events and physical development training courses. Amanda children’s parties are a speciality and she has entertained many children of celebrities from the music, film and TV industries.

Amanda runs training sessions for teachers and nurseries in many London boroughs including Ealing and Hillingdon and she works in partnership with many nurseries and groups offering fun and fitness sessions for children. She works with big names in Pre-School care and also runs sessions at Snakes and Ladders in Syon Park , Child’s Play Café and many more.

Amanda is in the process of launching her own range of toys, fitness videos and, music CD’s and can be seen at various shows such as The Baby show and The Early Years show.

Amanda says, “I have the best job in the world… through my classes, I get to see children learn, grow and develop and it is just so much fun and immensely rewarding. Seeing the sheer joy on the face of each child as they interact with me and play with my toys is amazing. Little children are capable of so much more than they are given credit for and I can help them learn, achieve the early learning goals whilst all the time having fantastic fun. I firmly believe that children should be allowed to be children and show free expression, dance, sing, let off steam and learn at their own pace!”
