Rupert is a bear and lives with his family in a house in Nutwood. His friends are all animals as well. Rupert is wears a red jumper and bright yellow checked trousers, with matching yellow scarf.

Rupert’s friends are Bill Badger, Pong-Ping the Pekingese, Edward Trunk the elephant, Raggety the Elf and Ming the dragon and they help him on his adventures.
