Rupert is a very famous bear – and is a bit older than he looks.  Your mum or dad might have enjoyed the stories when they were little.  Even your grannies and grandads might have had a Rupert Annual at Christmas.

You may have seen Rupert’s adventures in the newspapers.  The Rupert Bear comic strip has been a firm favourite since the 1930s.

There has been a Rupert Bear Annual every year since 1936 – that is over 70 years of annuals.
