2010 was a massive year for Rihanna and you were wondering just how much bigger she could get. Well, if 2011 is anything to go by, there doesn’t seem to be a limit!

Similar to fellow Popstar of the Year nominees, Take That, Rihanna released her latest album torwards the end of 2010 and has been raking in the awards throughout 2011!

This year Billboard named her Digital Songs Artist of the entire 2000s decade, she won a Brit Award for Best International Female Solo Artist and she has now collected a total of four Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards and 18 Billboard Music Awards!

2011 has also seen Rihanna go on a staggering World Tour, which has seen her performing at the biggest arenas across the globe, from Brazil to Switzerland and selling over 200,000 tickets!

Somehow she’s still found time to feature on songs with the likes of Coldplay, Kanye West and Nicki Minaj, and release 6 of her own singles, including the massively successful We Found Love with Calvin Harris, which was number one in over 8  countries!

We Found Love was the first single from her 6th album Talk That Talk which came out at the end of November. It almost seems standard now to say that Rihanna’s new album has also proved massively successful, reaching number one in the UK, US and 7 other countries.

In the UK the album sold over 300,000 copies within its first week and has made Rihanna the only female artist in UK history to have a number one single and album twice in the same year with a different album and single.
