Support a charity this #GivingTuesday with Head Held High from Hope for Children!

It's all about helping kids go to school.

This coming Tuesday is #GivingTuesday, a day dedicated to helping good causes around the world.

It comes after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday – days where there are normally loads of sales and we get to spoil ourselves with yummy food and new gadgets!

The idea is that we think about other people this coming Tuesday and help out in any way we can, whether that’s with a bake-sale, donations, or just by talking about our favourite charities.

This year we’re supporting Head Held High, a campaign from Hope for Children. They’re helping children transform their lives by helping them go to school.

Without an education, kids often have to go to work doing jobs that aren’t very nice and are sometimes dangerous.

If you want to get involved, there are ways you can improve the lives of kids like you!

Head Held High provides school books and uniforms for these children, as well as activities like workshops and teacher training programmes!

That means thousands of children will get to go to school – and education changes everything. They’ll get pride, confidence, and knowledge to break the poverty cycle.

Plus, thanks to a scheme called UK Aid Match, for every £1 donated to Hope for Children, the Government will also contribute £1.

When you donate £12, the Government will match it, so that will become £24! That’s enough to provide a year’s school books and uniform for two children.
