We know loads of you out there are doing some great things to help make a difference in your local community, so we thought we’d tell you about a really interesting competition going on right now.
Run by CAF and Five News, it’s a national TV Competition called Britain’s Kindest Kid. And what they’re looking for is the amazing achievements of children and young people across the UK and the difference they make to charities, their community or even their families.
The stories of the five finalists will be told on Five News and last year’s finalists all got a trip to Downing Street!
The winner receives a trophy, a £1000 pocket money and £1000 to give to a charity of their choice.
If you or someone you know could be Britain’s Kindest Kid then either apply or you can nominate a young person you think is particularly deserving.
The competition is open to everybody aged between 5 and 16 years.
If you want to enter, visit www.cafonline.org/britainskindestkid and the closing date is 5pm on 5th September.
