There’s a Harry Potter play coming next year!
J.K Rowling has just revealed a load more info on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child which is coming to London in the summer of 2016.
The plays artwork has been revealed for the first time and we now know that it’s going to start where the seventh book finished!
We don’t know loads about the plot at the moment, but the official website has given us this taster…
It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.
While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.
This means that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be the eighth story in the series and the first to be on stage.
It’s split into two parts which can be seen on the same day or over two nights!
Booking opens on 30th October (next Friday) and tickets are going to sell FAST!
The play officially opens at the Palace Theatre London in July 2016!
