Taylor Swift kicked off her 1989 World Tour in ‘Style’ last night (5th May) in Tokyo, Japan (see what we did there?)!
OK, that’s about all the puns we can manage, it’s a pun-free zone from here on in, sorry… back to the article, we’re just filling ‘Blank Space’ here (OHHHHH didn’t see that one coming, did ya?!)…
Anyway, taking to the stage in a sparkly purple skirt, Tay opened the show with a belting rendition of Welcome To New York, complete with loads of American signage, dancers, and that sort of thing.
Swifty then managed to squeeze an impressive seventeen songs into her set after that, rounding off with probably the greatest song ever to grace this Earth – Shake It Off!
She’s got another date at the Tokyo Dome tonight (6th May) before it’s off to the U S of A for the Northern American leg of the tour!
