Watch sisters Sam and Jo Brady make 1989 paper cranes for Taylor Swift’s mum!

This is the cutest!

Earlier this year, Taylor Swift revealed on Tumblr that her mum Andrea had sadly been diagnosed with cancer.

After hearing the news, sisters Sam and Jo Brady, aged 11 and 8, decided they wanted to do something special to try and support Taylor’s family at this difficult time.

The girls had the idea to make 1989 (the name of Taylor’s recent album) paper cranes because there’s a Japanese legend that says if you fold 1000 paper cranes you get granted one wish.

So the sisters have spent the past three months doing just that, and have used their wish to hope Taylor’s mum gets better “and kicks cancer’s butt””.

They’ve made a sweet video too – check it out below – which we’re hoping Taylor and her mum will see soon! Nice one, girls!
