Nettles – OW! Almost everyone has been stung by stinging nettles. They can grow up to 2 metres in height.
Why do they sting? It is just their way to protect themselves. They sting using venom which is released when the leaves are damaged.
Amazingly, once they have been thoroughly cooked it is possible to put them into recipes.
Wild Challenge! Why not look online with an adult for recipes that include nettles?
