It was so close for Turkey – first they were ahead, then they went behind, then they leveled – and then a neat one-two saw Phillipp Lahm crash home the winner and send his country into yet another final. Shocker for the Turks!

We waited 120 minutes for a goal – then got two in the closing seconds! Fabio Grosso grabbed the first then Alessandro del Piero finished off the Germans, putting Italy on the way to their fourth World Cup triumph!
England 4-2 W. Germany, World Cup 1966 final
This one was so late the fans thought it was all over! As West Germany pushed forward looking for an equalizer, England struck on the counter and Geoff Hurst completed his hat-trick in the most famous moment in English football history!
