The Sports Personality of the Year Award 2012 was won by Bradley Wiggins last night!
The Olympic cyclist won the awards, beating Jessica Ennis and Andy Murray to the top spot.
After winning he said “I’d like to thank my teammates because without them I wouldn’t be here tonight.”
The award is a huge honour to win as it is voted for by the public.
Jessica Ennis came 2nd and Andy Murray came in 3rd place.
Seeing as the Olympics were so amazing this summer, it was pretty obvious that an Olympian would win.
Here was one of our favourite moments from the night, it’s a very confused looking Andy Murray accepting his 3rd place trophy!
