Coram Voice, a charity that helps young kids in care, has launched their annual writing competition!
The theme of this year’s competition is ‘Who or What Makes You Proud’ and entries are now open.
You can submit entries online and they can be in any written form, from poems to short stories and raps or even newspaper articles!
There’s a 500 word limit on entries and the competition is grouped into four age categories: primary school, lower secondary school (age 11-14), upper secondary school (age 15-18) and care leavers.
The winner of each category will receive a tablet and £100 of shopping vouchers!
All of the poems will be judged by people who have worked in care or had experience of it.
They include Lucy Spraggan, who was on The X Factor, Jenny Molloy, author of ‘Hackney Child’, and Dreadlock Alien, who is a slam and performance poet!
