If there’s one thing we all dream of, it’s got to be scoring goals for your favourite club as their super striker! And since there’s been so many goals in the Premier League this year, we’ve decided to take a look at the five strikers who are best at scoring them!
First up is…
Bio: Wayne Rooney is one of the Premier League’s best ever strikers, he is fantastic at scoring goals both with his feet and his head! Since he joined Man United from Everton in 2004, he has scored well over 100 league goals! Rooney is now the third highest-paid footballer in the world earning around £18 million a year from wages and sponsorship!
Pros: As well as scoring goals, Rooney is also great at creating chances for his teammates with great passes and crosses. Last season Rooney created 11 goals for his team mates.
Cons: Wayne Rooney can have a bit of a bad temper – he’s been sent off several times both for club and country. Whilst playing for England in a crucial quarter final match against Portugal during World Cup 2006, Rooney was sent off for stamping on an opposition player!

That’s why Manchester City paid around £38 million to sign him from Spanish team Atlético Madrid over the summer. The little striker from Argentina has made an impact straight away scoring 14 goals in the Premier League so far this season.
Interesting Fact: Agüero is a big fan of Lord of the Rings and has a tattoo on his arm written in Elvish.
