DESCRIPTION:Discover the curious world of London Transport’s Lost Property Office with a fun family trail at London Transport Museum. \nSince the Lost Property Office first opened in 1933 it has become home to more than 15 million objects\, from everyday hats\, bags and toys to unusual items including a skeleton\, a mattress\, and a grandfather clock! \nDuring the Easter holidays\, families visiting the Museum in Covent Garden can follow a trail around the galleries to discover fun facts about objects past and present that have been lost and found on London’s Tube trains and buses. \nPlus\, from 4-6 April\, families can join Emily Rand\, author of The Lost Property Office as she reads from her book\, and then get creative to collage their own lost object and add it into Emily’s Lost Property Office installation. \n \nAnd from 9-12 April\, meet author Kate Wilkinson who will read from her book Edie and the Box of Flits. Discover how Edie gets tangled up in an adventure involving spooky ghost stations\, a maze of underground tunnels and a whole world just out of sight. \n \nYou can see the full programme and session times on London Transport Museum’s website here. \nOpening times \nMon-Sun 10:00-18:00\, last admission 17:15 \n2022 Admission prices \nAdult tickets can be bought online in advance and tickets are valid for a whole year allowing unlimited day time entry. \nKids go free!
