DESCRIPTION:SEGA\, The British Hedgehog Preservation Society and Ben Fogle are holding a fun family education day to raise awareness of hedgehog welfare on Bonfire Night. \nYou are invited to the free event that will take place at Camley Street Natural Park in London on Thursday 27th October 2022. It will be an opportunity for all of the family to learn about how to safeguard this much-loved creature. The event will include meet and greets with Sonic The Hedgehog\, and information from renowned hedgehog expert and author Hugh Warwick about hedgehog welfare and advocacy. \nAward-winning broadcaster and adventurer\, Ben Fogle\, will also be discussing his love of nature\, and in particular hedgehogs! \nEmbed from Getty Images\nThere will also be LOADS of Sonic The Hedgehog-themed activities\, including a Sonic treasure hunt\, drawing competition\, clay hedgehog modelling\, pond dipping and an exclusive chance to play the new Sonic Frontiers video game before it even hits the shelves on 8th November 2022. \nBonfires and hedgehogs \nThe event is taking place to coincide with the launch of Sonic Frontiers but to also raise awareness of how each year hedgehogs are at risk of being injured\, hurt and even killed as we celebrate bonfire night. \nLog piles used for bonfires provide the perfect shelter for hedgehogs as they begin to look for places to hibernate and stay warm and dry. But\, unintentionally\, this puts them in danger as pre-prepared bonfires are set alight.
