As well as that, you can enjoy Drayton Manor theme park. Set in 280 acres of lakes and parkland, this theme park has some of the biggest, wettest and scariest rides around.
If you dare, ride the adrenaline-inducing drop-tower, Apocalypse, stand-up coaster, Shockwave, the splash-tastic log flume, Stormforce 10, and stomach-churning gyro-swing, Maelstrom. There’s also a sensational 4D cinema that will be screening an exciting family movie.
And then once you’re done with the rides, have fun exploring Drayton Manor Zoo! With over a hundred species from all over the world, Drayton Manor Zoo is a great places if you love animals. There are big cats, reptiles, monkeys, owls, eagles, parrots and an exotic creature reserve.
New for 2012
Drayton Manor Theme Park will open for the 2012 season, and its 62nd year, on Saturday 17th March.
New for this year will be live Ben 10 shows, based on the hit TV series by Cartoon Network, that will be performed on the stage above the park’s Ben 10: Ultimate Mission roller coaster entrance and will entertain park guests as they approach the ride.
In addition, a newly themed food outlet, Chowder’s Diner, will open in Cartoon Network Street. Thematically decorated both inside and out, it will serve a variety of sandwiches, salads and children’s meals.
