Storytelling sessions last half an hour

Now you see me…Now you don’t!
In this mixed-media workshop, discover the unexpected! Look at dramatic effects in paintings to make an artwork from light and shadow with artist Viyki Turnbull.

Family Walk and Talk @ 12.30–1.30pm
For all ages

Join us on a themed journey where we will walk, talk and bring paintings alive!

Family Sunday
For families with children aged 5 to 11

Every Sunday is Family Sunday at the National Gallery. Join us for a range of activities designed especially for families to enjoy and learn together.
Free hands-on art workshops at 11am, repeated 2pm, every Sunday. Meet in the Education Centre Foyer, Orange Street Entrance. Workshops last two hours.
