This exhibition displays over 40 works of art from the Southwark art collection highlighting the lost heritage of one of London’s most historic boroughs.
Over the last 200 years large parts of Southwark have undergone major changes and many historic buildings and neighbourhoods have been destroyed, demolished or totally transformed. This exhibition gives the visitor an opportunity to glimpse into the past and to revisit a cityscape that either no longer exists or has been radically altered.
