Morph is back and he’s got his own YouTube channel!

The makers of Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep are bringing back one of their most infamous characters – Morph!

Aardman Animations first crafted Morph out of clay way back in 1977 and now he returns with a brand-new series on YouTube!

morph-and-chasYou might have seen Morph on CBBC but there’s not been any new episodes for quite a while so we’re excited to see what mischief he’ll get up to now!

Morph lives on an artists’s desk in a quiet corner of the Aardman studios with his cream-coloured sidekick Chas, whose even more badly behaved!

The first episode is here and you can check it out right here!

Watch DJ’s Morph & Chas in “Twin Peaks”:

It took Aardman five months to make the 15 one minute videos!

That might seem slow but the episodes were shot using stop-frame animation which is where you take pictures after each time you remould the clay and then stick all the pictures together at the end to make a video – and that takes quite a long time!

These new episodes will all premiere on YouTube, with the next one going up on 18th July. We can’t wait!
