Banksy’s Boys’ Club artwork sells for £403,000!

A piece of art by graffiti artist Banksy painted on a youth club doorway has sold for a massive £403,000!

The work appeared overnight in April outside Broad Plain Boys’ Club in Bristol who then received a letter from the artist confirming he did it.

It shows a couple having a hug while checking their mobile phones.

The club was on the brink of closure until Banksy’s artwork appeared, which has given them the cash they need to keep running!

Now they’ve unveiled their own mural to thank the artist!

Banksy is a famous British graffiti artist but nobody knows what he looks like or what his name is!

His work appears in public places and there are often arguments over who owns the artwork as each piece is worth lots of money!

He uses stencils so he can do his paintings quickly as they are illegal – so don’t try it at home!
