Ben 10’s Record Breaking Summer

This Summer Ben 10 has been breaking loads of records and they’ve topped it all off with a gigantic Ben 10 Bloxx Alien Sculpture!

It took 18,556 people (that’s about 60 schools worth of people!) to each contribute a brick for the sculpture. It then took 570 hours to make and now weighs 1 ton. That’s the same as an elephant!

Stacey Solomon completed the huge sculpture by laying the 250,000th brick! To get to Stacey it had to go through 10 UK cities as it gradually grew in size!

The official record broken was for the most people to build an interlocking plastic brick (Lego) sculpture and Stacey completed the record on the banks of the River Thames in front of Big Ben.

Stacey, who also started the record attempt said: “The participation of the UK in this record attempt has been incredible. It’s so exciting to see the final sculpture after placing the first brick down back in August. Everyone has really got behind the attempt – my uncle even came to see me in Glasgow and added a 20 year old brick that was his as a child.”

The alien that has been built is named ‘Bloxx’ and features in the upcoming series of Ben 10 Omniverse on Cartoon Network on 6th October.
