Break Guinness World Record with Cartoon Network

ben-10-world-recordThis summer Cartoon Network is inviting kids across the UK to help build a giant alien (Bloxx) out of plastic bricks and break a Guinness World Record for the greatest number of participants.

‘Bloxx’ is one of 10 new featured aliens in the brand new series of Ben 10: Omniverse, which premieres on Cartoon Network this autumn.

The Alien World Record challenge runs through the summer holidays visiting nine busy UK shopping centres.

ben10-worldrecord-bloxxIf you want to take part, you can bring your own plastic brick (Cobi or Lego) to place on the giant sculpture or choose a brick from the existing selection at the event.

The tour kicks off in Glasgow on 4th August, where the first bricks will be added by local families. And then the alien will tour around the additional eight locations getting bigger and bigger along the way.

Once participants have laid a brick they’ll be able to push a button on a huge counter clock keeping track of every person who takes part. And the plan is for the final sculpture to be taller than a double decker bus!

A Cartoon Network film crew with live presenters will also be at each location so you may even get the opportunity to be on TV!

Attendance at the events is free and there is no need to register in advance.
