The Oscars is probably the biggest award ceremony in the whole world and the nominations were announced yesterday.
We didn’t know most of the films that were nominated but 2 of our favourite films of 2013 seem to be battling each other for the awards!
Despicable Me 2 and Frozen are up against each other for Best Animated Film, as well as Best Original Song – Pharrell with Happy for Despicable Me 2 and Demi Lovato with Let It Go for Frozen.
There are other nominees in both categories that could end up winning though, including The Croods for Best Animated Film.
