The Into Film festival is back and it’s bigger than ever!

Hundreds of free screenings, workshops and events for young people are coming to a cinema near you from 9 – 25 November

 Back for the third year running, the Into Film festival will be opening the doors of cinemas around the UK for pupils and students aged 5-19!

The exciting free programme will feature some of the biggest and best films of the moment alongside a weird and wonderful selection of titles from home-grown British talent and filmmakers from around the world.

This year’s programme will offer a range of stories around 6 themes.

The giant list of film titles include the biggest blockbusters, awesome adaptations of novels and plays, brilliant British and classic films, documentaries, fantastic foreign language and world cinema and much more all linked to school subjects!

Into Film like to do things a little bit differently too…

Screenings won’t only be taking place in cinemas they will be taking place in some pretty interesting locations too:

  • Inside a secret Scottish war bunker
  • A travelling mobile cinema in remote rural communities in Scotland
  • Screenings with animals at Edinburgh and Belfast Zoo and on Folly farm in Wales
  • At the famous Pinewood Studios the home to many of the James Bond films!
  • A screening of Paper Planes in an aircraft hangar in Northern Ireland
  • On a custom built cinema on a canal boat in London
  • In select hospitals with children’s wards including St. Thomas’s Hospital in London
