Half term is almost here and over at RHS Garden Wisley they’ve lined up a sense-ational week of fun!
There are loads of activities, all designed to awaken your senses – touch, smell, sight and sound. There’s storytelling, music workshops, scratch and sniff craft activities and sow & grow workshops
Plus all the activities are free with normal garden entry!
To give you an idea of what to expect, here are some of the cool events you can enjoy:
Storytelling (26 & 27 October)
Fun for all the family with ‘Entertainingly Different’. Enjoy traditional interactive storytelling shows with music three times daily.
Performances at 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm (45 min shows)
Scratch and sniff lavender cards (28 October)
Make and decorate your own scratch and sniff lavender flower card.
10.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30 to 3.30pm
Mask Making (29 & 30 October)
Learn about scent and sound while making a badger or owl mask.
10.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30 to 3.30pm
Music workshops (31 October)
Raise the roof and have some fun with music workshops by ‘Bassistry Arts’.
Sessions at 11am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.20pm
Sow and grow (31 October & 1 November)
Sow and grow tasty broad beans!
10.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Garden Trail (all week)
Pick up an Autumn Adventure trail to follow an ‘I-spy game’ using all your senses to explore the garden.
Come and try your hand at making a den!
Available all week in the Wild at Wisley Play area.
