If you go to the Foundling Museum in London on Saturday 31st March and Sunday 1st April, you may be in for a bit of a surprise!
That’s because children will be taking over and running the museum the entire weekend.
As part of Yinka’s Foundling Back to Front Weekend, children will get to step back in time to the 18th century, dress in costumes of the period and take charge of everything – from running the information desk to acting as guides to the paintings collection.
They will be the teachers carrying out lessons based on those taught to the original foundling children in the 18th century: singing, needlework, catechism and writing.
Alongside this there’slll also be a whole day of free entertainment based on the themes of the 18th century fairground, including puppet shows, magic demonstrations and music.
So if you want to a unique experience of visiting a museum, then definitely check this out!
