Koalas need your help! And your spare mittens!
People have been knitting mittens for poorly koalas in Australia this week!
The koalas have been caught in big bush fires and have burnt their paws really badly and have to wear mittens to protect them!
Bush fires are when big parts of the forests in Australia get too hot and catch fire, which spreads really fast!

The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) have received thousands of mittens from all over the world – so many that they actually don’t need any more!
“Luckily we have a big stock room and we will keep them here and send them out to people all around the country as and when they’re needed,” said the charity.
Those koalas are going to be looking stylish for quite a while!
