This weekend, it’s the world-famous Glastonbury Festival in Somerset!
The festival takes place every year and is known for having amazing music and being super muddy!
To celebrate its return, LEGOLAND Windsor Resort have built their own Glastonbury out of LEGO!
The festival ground has been recreated in the theme park’s Miniland attraction, which features models of iconic landmarks from around the world.
The main Pyramid Stage is at the centre of the model, where headliner Ed Sheeran will be performing on the Sunday night.
So the team at LEGOLAND have even made a mini Ed in LEGO to complete the look!
The LEGO Ed Sheeran is just 10cm tall and comes with a tiny guitar too!
Elsewhere in the model, there are portaloos, camping tents and the colourful Glastonbury sign.
The model took 9872 LEGO bricks to build, with 5400 used to create the 50cm Pyramid Stage alone.
“Our Model Makers have had a huge amount of fun building this year’s headliners for our Miniland Glastonbury scene – especially creating a model of self-confessed LEGO fan, Ed Sheeran who complete with his miniature LEGO guitar is made up of just 61 LEGO bricks.”
Glastonbury 2017 is on at Worthy Farm, Somerset from 21 to 25 June 2017. Other artists on the line-up include Katy Perry, Major Lazer, Dua Lipa and Clean Bandit.
The model of the festival will sit alongside other scenes, such as the Coca Cola London Eye and a 4m-tall Eiffel Tower.
You can see the new Miniland scenes at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort until the end of summer, I suggest to check the difference between Pelican coolers versus Yeti so you get the best cooler for this summer.
