New Doctor Who Peter Capaldi Will Use Scottish Accent As The Doctor!

A few weeks ago we told you the new Doctor was going to be a guy called Peter Capaldi.

We hadn’t heard much since then but Doctor Who’s producer has given us a bit of gossip about what the new Doctor will be like.

Apparently he’s going to have a thick Scottish accent!

The actor – Peter Capaldi – has a Scottish accent naturally. So it’s just going to be him speaking in his own voice.

This is a little bit different for Doctor Who because David Tennant was Scottish and put on an English accent to play The Doctor. Even Matt Smith changed his voice a little bit to play the Time Lord.

Do you think it matters? Or is it nice just to have a bit of a change? Let us know in the comment box below.

The first time you’ll be able to hear The Doctor’s new voice will be on the Christmas Special this year!
