The Big Knights (U, 2015)

Sir Boris and Sir Morris are big news in their homeland of Borovia, not only due to their very large size but also because they can’t avoid causing a lot of trouble wherever they go!

Despite being up against witches, mad scientists and asteroids, the townspeople are dismayed whenever they see the knights gallop forth from Castle Big.

However gallantly they come to the rescue, things always seem to end up in a much worse state than before. A riotously joyful animation from the creators of Peppa Pig featuring a voice cast of comic national treasures.

If you like this, why not try these other great films with similar themes?

Sleeping Beauty, The Princess Bride, Lotte Reiniger: The Fairy Tale Films – Disc 2, Princess Lillifee, Justin y la espada del valor (Justin and the Knights of Valour)

Maya the Bee (U, 2015)

It animated adventure tells the tale of Maya a bee whose first experience of life in the hive leaves her feeling flat.

No-one seems to share her curiosity and excitement for the big wide world, and she starts to worry that she’s not like all the other bees. Not understanding their importance, Maya breaks the bee rules and is banished from the hive.

Alone in the meadow, Maya, determined to fit in and make a difference, befriends an unsuspecting grasshopper and unwittingly one of the bees natural enemies – a hornet, named Sting. Together they’re unstoppable. Good job as there’s a plot to tumble the Queen Bee from her throne!

Based on the original German stories, this new revision and eco tale is simply charming and fun watch for young film fans.
