Wayne Rooney has now scored 49 goals for the England team which is the same amount as Sir Bobby Charlton!
He scored a penalty against San Marino but didn’t get the chance to score again to beat the record and become the all time England goalscorer.
England play Switzerland on Tuesday evening and everyone at Wembley and watching on their tellys at home will be hoping Wayne can do it!
