World’s most expensive pizza costs $2,000 from Industry Kitchen in New York and is topped with 24-karat gold!

That's £200 a slice!

A restaurant in New York has created probably the world’s most expensive pizza EVER!

Chefs at the city’s Industry Kitchen have designed the 24K Pizza.

It’s called the 24K Pizza because it’s topped with 24-karat gold flakes!

Each one is being sold for $2,000 – which is around £1,627!

Even just a slice is expensive, costing a whopping $250 (£203)!

So what makes this pizza so special?

Well it’s made with English Stilton cheese, foie gras flown over from France, truffles (which are basically really expensive mushrooms), plus one of the most expensive types of caviar around – Ossetra from the Caspian Sea.

Here’s what the restaurant’s chef, Braulio Bunay, has to say…

“The pizza is extremely rich—if you’re in the mood for a lavish meal, this is the pizza for you.”

If you fancy trying it, you’ll have to let the restaurant know at least 48 hours in advance…

And we’d probably have to rob a bank too – there’s no way we could afford this!

We’ll just stick to pepperoni, thanks…

Find one of these rare coins and you could almost afford a slice!
