DESCRIPTION:Almost 250 years ago the very first Royal Academy of Arts summer exhibition was put on! \nNow\, nearly 250 years later\, the group is still discovering new talent. \nThe Royal Academy of Arts coordinates the largest open submission exhibition in the world. \nBasically\, that means almost anyone can submit work to the exhibit and if it’s good\, it will be shown. \nThere are over 1\,200 works showing over just eight days. \nClick here to find out more! \nEverything you’ll see at the Summer Exhibition represents the art being made today. \nExpect to find a panorama in all media\, from painting\, printmaking\, film and photography to sculpture\, architectural works and performance art. \nExhibition tours are also available. They take 45-minutes and are free with an exhibition ticket\, but you have to go at 7pm every Friday from 16 June – 18 August. \nYour ticket includes a programme. \nUnder 16s go free when with a fee-paying adult.
