So it’s important we understand the story of energy – where it comes from, how it works and the ways we’ll create and use energy in the future.

British Gas has just launched an exciting new competition called The Powerful Story where you can help create a story all about energy in the past, present and future!
The Powerful Story begins when twins Zoe and Billy Spark stumble across an old diary that plunges them into a time-travelling adventure. What do they do and who do they meet? That’s up to you!
If you take part you’ll get the chance to work with top childrens author, Ciaran Murtagh! And each chapter will contain the work of the winners. The final book will then be published and turned into an exhibition at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum!
Plus, all entries received before noon on 2nd June 2013 will be entered into a regional prize draw to win a Kindle Fire HD!
