FILMCLUB at the National Movie Awards

Stars of the big and small screen lined up to talk to two lucky teenagers who were chosen to report from the blue-carpet at the National Movie Awards, for FILMCLUB – the nationwide education charity and experts in films for young people.

Emily (14) and Louise (15), who are Young Ambassadors for FILMCLUB, joined seasoned showbiz reporters at the star-studded event held at London’s Wembley Arena.

As the only teens given access to interview the stars, the youngsters scooped interviews with Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush (The Kings Speech, Pirates of the Caribbean), Matthew Horne and Theo Stevenson – who are starring in the forthcoming book adaptation of Horrid Henry – Dame Shirley Bassey , Reece Ritchie (Prince of Persia) and Twilight star Jamie Campbell Bower – who won the NMA Award for ‘One to Watch’.

The duo also grabbed a chat with boyband of the moment – JLS – where the cheeky youngsters asked the boys what their favourite cinema treats were.
