This week, two lucky FILMCLUB Young Ambassadors were sent along to the glitzy red-carpet premiere of Disney’s new 3D animation Tangled to interview the star of the film, and the creative team behind it!

Sioban, aged 9 from Stockport, and Rachel, 10, from Cornwall, spoke to Hollywood actress Mandy Moore (who you might recognise from The Princess Diaries) about what it was like to make the animated film and lend her voice to the lead character Rapunzel.

The reporters also interviewed the films creative team – the directors Nathan Greno and Byron Howard, and Glen Keane, the film’s animation supervisor, directing animator and executive producer about making the new 3D movie, which is a retelling of the classic Rapunzel fairytale.

Check out their interviews below!

And head over to the FILMCLUB New in Cinema section to read a review of Tangled, which is released in UK cinemas in Disney 3D on Friday 28 January.

About FILMCLUB

Want to meet the stars like Dorothy did? Then sign up to FILMCLUB. Here’s Dorothy’s thoughts on the experience of being a Filmclubber:

“Being a Young Ambassador has been a brilliant experience so far. It gives me a good knowledge of films because what most people think about a film is what they see on the screen.

Whereas now I can actually look into what happens in films and it’s really interesting and fun.”
