This week sees the release of the exciting new sci-fi film Super 8. The film follows a group of movie-making kids who, after witnessing a mysterious train crash in the summer of 1979, begin noticing strange happenings going around in their small town, and begin to investigate into the creepy phenomenon!
It looks like it could be one of the biggest films of the summer so we sent two young reporters from our friends at education charity FILMCLUB to quiz the stars of new spooky sci-fi film Super 8, which
Courtney and Rebecca grilled director J.J. Abrams – who is the man behind sci-fi themed high-octane features including Star Trek, Mission: Impossible 3 and TV series Lost – and the film’s stars Elle Fanning (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Astro Boy) Kyle Chandler (The Day the Earth Stood Still, Grey’s Anatomy) and newcomers Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee and Joel Courtney, to find out what it was like to make the movie and their favourite scenes to shoot.
