The Proud Family, which first aired in 2001, is back and LOUDER and PROUDER than ever!
The show is all about Penny, a 14-year-old girl who is usually embarrassed by her dad, Oscar. She loves hanging out with her friends, even though they sometimes get her into trouble…She’s a very talented singer and often daydreams about an international superstar!
We’re so excited for Penny (Kyla Pratt) and her hilarious family, including the mega-cringe Oscar (Tommy Davidson), to return in February…and we’ve managed to get our on hands on an exclusive clip from the new show which you can watch above!
So many of the original cast members are reprising their roles from the original series including Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud, Paula Jai Parker as Trudy Proud, JoMarie Payton as Suga Mama, Cedric the Entertainer as Uncle Bobby, Karen Malina White as Dijonay Jones, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoey Howzer, Alisa Reyes as LaCienega Boulevardez, Carlos Mencia as Felix Boulevardez, Maria Canals-Barrera as Sunset Boulevardez and Alvaro Gutierrez as Papi.
The series will premiere on Disney+ on February 23rd 2022, with new episodes being released every Wednesday!
