Climate change is what happens when the Earth warms or cools beyond what’s considered normal.
Climate change has always happened, but over the last 200 or so years, humans have made climate change worse, and today as we rely on more and more electric goods and vehicles to get us around, it’s becoming a big problem.
In November, lots of people in charge of countries are gathering to talk about climate change at a conference in Glasgow, called COP26.
And we want to give YOU an opportunity to pose a question and find out what you want to know about Climate Change.
All you have to do is record yourself asking a question that you’d like a climate expert to answer. We will be asking them lots of your questions, so please send in several.
Everyone who sends in a question will be entered into a draw to win a load of Earth themed books!
If you’re stuck for ideas, you could record one of the questions below or use them as hints to come up with your own question:
- What is climate change?
- Why does climate change happen?
- How do humans make climate change worse?
- How can humans help prevent climate change?
- Do animals affect climate change?
- How will climate change affect the weather?
- How long will it take to stop climate change?
- Can technology help reduce the impact of climate change?
- What is COP26?
These are just tips. You can ask any question you want and even just talk about how you feel about climate change if you prefer.

You can record either as a voice memo in your voice memo app or by making a video. We don’t need to see you, just hear you clearly.
The recordings may be used on Fun Kids and in a brand new podcast series coming soon!
