Barnes Children’s Literature Festival, the UK’s largest dedicated children’s literature festival, is celebrating its tenth birthday this year!

On 22nd and 23rd June over 100 author events, performances and free activities will take place around beautiful Barnes’ pond.

The festival always attracts much-loved names from the world of children’s books and this year is no different with authors and illustrators such as literary legend Michael Rosen, beloved bestselling author Jacqueline Wilson, the superstar creator of the Tom Gates series, Liz Pichon, and Gruffalo illustrator Axel Scheffler. These are just a few of the people ready to meet you!

The festival is for children of all ages and there is plenty for non fiction fans too with appearances from ‘Horrible’ historian, Greg Jenner, dinosaur expert Professor Ben Garrod, science sleuth Dr Adam Rutherford, star of BBC Radio 4’s Rutherford & Fry, and multi award winning author Dr Roopa Farooki.

There is literally something for everybody!
