National TrustThe summer is here! And sometimes we find it can be hard to find cool things to do to fill all those free hours.

So we thought we’d let you know about all the cool stuff that’s going on across the country as part of summer with the National Trust!

Looking at wildlife in the garden at Quarry Bank Mill, Cheshire ©NTPL John Millar - SmallThis summer, children of all ages are encouraged to release their inner ‘wild child’ and go on bug hunts, build dens, follow wildlife trails, play hide and seek and roam around the woods.

There’s everything from sea safaris and pirate adventures to summer storytelling and outdoor theatre.

Plus, if it rains you can just go exploring in one of their castles, with toys, dress-up rooms and activity spaces too!

There is absolutely thousands of things to do and places to see – way more than you can even visit in one summer, but definitely worth a try!

Below we’ve collected a whole bunch of our highlights – click on a button to begin exploring.
