The Windrush Generation: We want to hear your stories

Fill out the form below and we'll be in touch

Afro-Caribbean culture is all around us โ€“ whether food we eat, music we listen to and books we like to read. This is largely thanks to the many Caribbean people who arrived in the UK in the 1950s and 60s.

They answered a call to help Britain rebuild after WWII and their contribution has shaped the country and culture we see today.

It all began with a ship called the Empire Windrush.

Fun Kids is creating a series to celebrate the Windrush Generation and we need YOUR help.

We want to include as many of your stories as possible โ€“ the experiences of your parents and grandparents โ€“ people in your school, church and local community…
