Ever wondered about all the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes on to get a movie on the big screen?
Now you can find out! There’s a free, interactive event this summer called ‘Secrets of the Movies’!
There are loads of activities including live stunt performances, a video booth, giant games and film quizzes. There are also workshops on designing film posters and learning more about film animation.
An exhibition of around 75 poster artworks and behind-the-scenes photographs are on show, as well as some really classic films! Plus you can learn more about cinema artefacts and work out who does what on a film set!
There’s even a cool model cinema, custom-built from over 25,000 LEGO® bricks! Take a look…
The event is open between 11am and 6pm on weekdays from Thursday 10th until Thursday 24th August 2017 inclusive.
Secrets of the Movies is free to visit, although for some activities free tickets must be pre-booked.
