Discover incredible inventions from the past such as a combined knife and fork, a typewriter for partially-sighted people and an aerial flying machine through to cutting-edge modern inventions, such as a bionic prosthetic arm, a hoverbike and clothes that expand to fit as you grow!
Thereβs lots of hands-on fun to be had!

- Find your inner inventor as you design your own invention!
Discover fantastic inventions of past, present and future β from hoverbikes and robot jellyfish, to Victorian ventilating top hats and scuba diving suits.
Plus, if you love crafting, enjoy the craft clubs for all ages from on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 31st August.
There are fun-filled family days on 3rd September and 1st October with a host of free activities including toy building, coding, 3D modelling, tours of the Spirit of Invention exhibition with Victorian inventors, face painting and more!
