Camp Bestival is a four-day safe, fun, magical and adventurous wonderland for kids of all ages to explore.
It’s also one of the best ways to start the summer holidays falling as it does at the end of term (25th – 28th July at Lulworth Castle, Dorset)
Camp Bestival offers hundreds of things to see and do from music headliners Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Jess Glynne and Annie Mac, family shows with Mr Tumble, Mister Maker and Shaun The Sheep, to comedy, spoken word, arts, science shows and circus workshops for all.
There’s also tree-climbing, woodland workshops, helter skelters, giant bubble workshops and face painting for the kids through to teens having poetry slams, teen only spinning classes, sleeping out under the stars and How To… workshops where teens can learn how to break into interesting and inspirational jobs.
As a family festival, Camp Bestival also prides itself on catering for the new-borns with a breastfeeding tent and nappy changing spaces for parents to feel truly comfortable, as well as dedicated soft play and toddlers areas.
Parents are particularly spoilt at Camp Bestival; well, they did buy the tickets!
Amazing live acts and DJs, raves, discos, parties, comedy, literary talks, parenting advice and stories, cocktails, award-winning street food, likeminded people all in a big old field by a castle and the sea.
This year Camp Bestival is introducing Wild Tribe, a brand new area to celebrate screen-free time – so it’s a largely solar and alternative technology powered area full of bushcraft, wild things for kids to do, no banging sound systems and amazing organic and vegan food options!
