Voices, the creative writing competition from Coram Voice, is now open!

Find out how to enter below!

Voices is the annual creative writing competition for kids in care from Coram Voice.

Coram Voice is an organisation set up for you!

They champion the rights of children in care, care leavers and others who depend upon the help of the government.

Their whole goal is to get young voices heard in decisions that matter to them and work to improve their lives.

That’s why Voices, the competition, is so good.

The theme of this year’s competition is: This is me.

It’s open to anyone who has experience of the care system.

Entries can be in any written form including poems, short stories, raps or newspaper articles, with a 500-word limit.

There are four age categories too:

  • Primary school (5-10)
  • Lower secondary school (age 11-14)
  • Upper secondary school (age 15-17)
  • Care leavers (age 18-25)

Entires are open right now and close on February 28th 2022.

Entries can be submitted online at coramvoice.org.uk/voices.
