Young Audio Awards β the awards for 8 to 18s and schools involved in audio β are back for 2020!
Hundreds of you entered earlier last year and loads of your shows ended up on Fun Kids, the national radio station for children.
The 2020 Young Audio Awards are shaping up to be even bigger and better than before.
The nominations close on Friday, 31st January 2020 but thereβs still a chance to get yours in.
This week Sean heard all about the awards from George who helps organise them. They talk about the awards, what you need to do to enter, and how to make yourself stand out from the crowd!
The awards ceremony will take place Friday 27th March 2020.
The award categories for the 2020 awards are:
- BBC Sounds Rising Talent Award (8-11, 12-15, 16-18)
- Arqiva Award for Technical Excellence

- Best News, Sport & Documentary in partnership with BBC Young Reporter
- Best in Comedy or Drama
- Achievement within the Community
- School Radio Station of The Year (Primary School With Fun Kids, Secondary School)
